How to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior:
God Loves You and has a purpose for your life.
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.” - John 3:16
He loves you and wants you to have eternal life.
You need salvation.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” - Romans 3:23
“For the wages of sin is death (eternal separation from God), but the gift of God is eternal life.” - Romans 6:23
You cannot save yourself.
God has provided for you.
“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.“ - Romans 5:8
Jesus Christ died for your sins.
You Must Respond.
“That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord’, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” -Romans 10:9-10
Turn away from your sins and ask Jesus Christ to forgive you.
Pray this prayer of Commitment:
Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus Christ, I give my life to you! I pray and ask Jesus to be the Lord of my life. I ask that you forgive me. I turn away from my sins and ask that you cleanse my soul, Lord. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who came to earth through the Virgin Mary, was crucified, dead, and buried, but rose to life again and is seated at the right hand of God in Heaven! Consume me, Lord, and make me a servant of your will and an instrument of your peace.
In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, accept me into your kingdom!
